Omran Syria Policy Forum 2026: Transition to Statecraft
Nearly two years after December 8, 2024, Syria is entering a new phase centered on consolidating effective state institutions, accountable security structures, and an investable economy.
The forum will convene a select group of U.S. and Syrian policymakers, congressional and administration stakeholders, Damascus-based researchers, leading policy experts, Syrian-American institutional leaders, and private-sector professionals for a closed-door discussion on:
- State-building and legitimacy;
- Security institution-building and control over force;
- Economic recovery, investment, and global reintegration—and what these developments mean for U.S. policy.
Speakers will be announced shortly. The final agenda will be shared with confirmed participants prior to the event. This event will be conducted under the Chatham House Rule.
Please note: Completion of this registration form does not automatically guarantee attendance. Space is limited and participation is by invitation only. Confirmed participants will receive an email confirmation, final agenda, and logistical details prior to the event.
